Tyler Foreman, DVM

Meet Dr. Tyler Foreman, DVM

Dr. Tyler Foreman was born and raised in Texas, completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri, his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, and his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.

He has a special focus on surgery and emergency medicine, and completed a one-year advanced training and internship in medicine and surgery from veterinary specialists in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

After his internship, Dr. Foreman relocated to Dallas, where he has spent the past 10 years working in emergency medicine, urgent care, and general practice.  In 2021, Dr. Foreman opened his own practice, Dallas Animal Urgent Care. 

When Dr. Foreman is not striving to improve patient care and the client experience at Dallas Animal Urgent Care, he greatly enjoys time with his wife Kate, their three cats and one dog, whose pictures are scattered around this website. He is an avid reader, movie fan and amateur world traveler.


Sarah Roberts, DVM

Meet Dr. Sarah Roberts

Dr. Sarah Roberts was born and raised in Norman, OK.  She attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University earning a bachelor’s degree in 2003 and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Roberts has a focus in emergency medicine and has been practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the past 13 years.

In her off time, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children. When time allows between work and family, Dr. Roberts can often be found organizing fundraisers at the kid’s school, baking cookies, or volunteering for various community organizations.


Katy Waite, DVM

Dr. Katy Waite of Dallas Animal Urgent Care

Dr. Katy Waite was born and raised in Commerce, Texas. She attended undergraduate school at Texas A&M Commerce and received her veterinary degree from Ross University in 2016 at the top of her class. She enjoys seeing all types of cases, both well and sick, but has a particular interest in internal medicine cases. When not at work, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling to national parks, and trying new foods. She shares her home with her husband, son, and two dogs, Lippy (8 year old Coconut Retriever) and Roosevelt (3 year old Schnauzer Mix).


Claire Watson, DVM

Dr. Claire Watson was born in Scotland. In 2001 she moved to the Great state of Texas. Dr. Watson earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Texas A&M. She then moved to Dallas in 2019. Dr. Watson’s veterinary interests include emergency medicine and surgery.

When not at the hospital, she enjoys taking care of her garden, which primarily consists of houseplants. She also enjoys doing crafts and macrame. Dr. Watson shares her home with two cats, Oliver and Maisie, and a Pomeranian named Fig.


Murphee Stepanek, DVM

Dr. Murphee Stepanek was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She was recruited to Oklahoma State as an equestrian athlete (show jumping) where she received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Biochemistry and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. Dr. Stepanek’s veterinary interests include emergency/triage medicine and surgery. When Dr. Stepanek is out of the hospital, she enjoys being at the barn, working on her stadium jumping skills, running, watching OSU football and spending quality time with her loving Labrador, Skye!


Sarah Hurd, DVM

Meet Dr. Sarah Hurd

Dr. Sarah Hurd was born and raised in the Dallas area. She attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate studies and stayed there to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019. One of her favorite parts of being a veterinarian is connecting with and educating pet parents. She has strong interests in emergency medicine, ultrasound, and surgery.  Outside of clinic life, she enjoys playing video games, hosting game nights with friends, and spending time with her two kitties, Foster and Whisper. 


Madison Hayden, DVM

Meet Dr. Madison Hayden

Dr. Hayden is originally from Fort Worth. She went to Texas A&M for her undergrad studies and veterinary school. She was in the graduating class of 2022. Her medical interests are in orthopedic surgery. In her off time Dr. Hayden enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, reading, watching trash reality tv (lol). She shares her home with her two cats, Cleo and Finn, and her mini Aussie named Grey.

Ali Thames, DVM

Meet Dr. Ali Thames

Dr. Ali Thames was born and raised in the hill country of Boerne, Texas. She spent 8 years at Texas A&M for undergraduate and veterinary school. Since graduating, she has worked in general practice and a 24/7 ER. She has a passion for emergency procedures (surgery, endoscopy) and developing her ultrasound skills. When not working, she’s usually outside, listening to audiobooks, or hanging with family. Dr. Thames and her husband love traveling to mountain towns for snow skiing and hiking every year. They share their home in Richardson with Tripp, a tri-pawed pitbull, and Ted, a grumpy Maine coon.


Libby Woodruff, DVM

Meet Dr. Libby Woodruff

Dr. Libby Woodruff was born and raised in Richmond, Texas. She attended Texas A&M for undergraduate and veterinary school. After graduation she did a small animal rotating internship in New Jersey for one year and since then she has worked in  emergency medicine. Dr. Woodruff enjoys traveling on her time off from work, whether to see family, attend the newest musical, or to go snow skiing with friends. She has a calico cat named Kolache who loves to play and sometimes will cuddle.
